Caleb and Carey
June 17, 2008 by JenniferA two weekends ago I was asked to take pictures of the groomsmen and of the reception at our friends Carey and Caleb’s wedding. We had a lot of fun goofing around and I had a great time getting some crazy picture of Caleb and the guys. The reception was a lot of fun and there was a lot of action on the dance floor.
Here’s what I saw
There was a lot of laughing
But these guys knew how to strike a pose
Some details
There was definitely a little silliness going on

But I did manage to get a few serious ones

I have a ton more but I just haven’t had time to get to them all. I may add some more latter.
Anna Belle
May 24, 2008 by JenniferYesterday morning I have the pleasure of photographing little Miss Anna Belle. Taking pictures of all these sweet little girls has been such a change a pace for me. I just love the little pink bow. IF I ever have a little girl of my own I’m going to have a bow super glued to her little head, I just can’t get enough of them.
Here are some of her little toes

She is really attached to her pacey.

and then right at the end, at two weeks old, she found her inner model.

and then she decided to be silly.

I have had so much fun shooting infants. While it can be a little challenging at least that don’t try to run off! Really it doesn’t get any sweeter then this.

May 21, 2008 by JenniferA couple of weeks ago my sister’s center of the arts had their year end recital. I was prompted to take some photos of her students performing so that the parents might be able to give their full attention to the ever blooming talents of their young ones instead of worrying about getting pictures. These are just a few of the MANY that I took. When I have all completed I will figure out a way to post them.
Enjoy~
Arthur
May 16, 2008 by JenniferHere are some picture that I grabbed of little Arthur the other day. After two cancellationsdue to sickness and weather we were able to get some great pics within a small window of opportunity. These are not even close to all of them but I know that his mommy is on pins and needles. So here is a preview.

Ballet in the Park
April 25, 2008 by JenniferThis past Sunday Twin City Ballet Co. had their annual ballet at Kiroli Park. They are actually there all weekend performing Friday and Saturday night, but onSunday afternoon they do a free performance for all their poor fans. We have loved going in the past and this year was one of the best I can remember. I particularly look forward to this event because I can enjoy two of my greatest passions at the same time, dance and photography. I wish that I had more opportunities to photograph the company dancing so that I could learn how to anticipate the leaps, a certain step or movement, an expression on a dancers face.
All in all I am very please with these. I definitely concentrated on Katherine during all the dances… wish I had had someone do this for me while I was dancing. I have to say that she did make it pretty easy for me.
Chris and Anna
April 16, 2008 by JenniferWe had such a great time on Saturday. We started out early and headed towards Strerlington. Our FedEx chauffeur, Bart, had a bunch of places he had been scouting out for us. So it was a family affair with the boys in the back of the suburban watching Cars and Bart was my extra set of hands.
So without futher delay…
Caleb and Carey
March 18, 2008 by JenniferYou could not have asked for a better day to take pictures. It was sunny and breezey with a few stray clouds and warm enough to remind you that Easter is just around the corner. We started off at Caleb’s grandmother’s place Mandalay. She has a terrific bamboo grove and it looked perfect as the back drop. Later we headed downtown and had more fun being goofy and what-not. Lastly we finished up at the church to get some pictures with the blooming bradford pears. I had such a blast and I don’t think these could have turned out any better.
Seniors
February 15, 2008 by JenniferThis week I made the trek over to Shreveport for a senior shoot with Calvin and Rose who are twins. They will be graduating in May and wanted to get some pictures done in time for their year book. We had a great time being chauffeured by mom, Stephanie, around the down town area. It was great way for me to see a lot of Shreveport!
So here we go. Calvin and Rose, I had a great time hanging out with you two. I hope y’all like these as much as I do!
This was acually towards the end of the shoot at the park.
Wowza! The girl knows how to work the camera.
Calvin was pretty cool in front of the camera too.
